Between the Rakovnicka and Plaska uplands, on the western edge of the Krivoklat forests, by the Rakovnicky creek. Formerly called Rokytka, it was a chamber town, hop growing and brewing. Now an industrial town, known mainly for ceramic and chemical products. And the beer is still brewed here.

Founded: 1252, population: 16 000, altitude: 322 m, region: Stredocesky.
